Swan Medical S.L. is a company created in 2016 in Barcelona for the development and the manufacture of surgical lighting devices on the basis of different world patents developed by the Institute for Health Science Research Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP).

In March, 2018 the first product was launched worldwide, the RUTILIGHT® portable lighting device, easily adaptable to the surgical set of instruments and with capacity to illuminate comfortably and precisely the surgical field, independently of the environment lighting.
